Keep it simple, it’s not rocket surgery, it’s striper fishing on Lake Texoma! Soft Plastic Swimbaits on jig heads will take Striper on Lake Texoma in October and November. If the fish are in 20-30 feet of water use a 3/4oz or 1oz jig head. If fish are in 5-15 feet try a 1/2oz jig head. You will need a small profile swimbait and a wide body swimbait. There are hundreds on the market! A four-inch Sassy Shad is a great wide body swimbait and a CoeHoe minnow for the small profile bait. Cast your swimbait into the working birds and let the bait fall. When you reach the depth you are marking fish on your sonar, start your retrieve! You may need to change your retrieve speed to get Striper to bite!
